Dancing Shoes 

I know you're disillusioned 
with the lessons you've been taught 
and the love and understanding 
isn't really what you thought 
take the cards that you've been given 
from the dealers dirty weave 
and let's play them out together 
I've got aces up my sleeve.. 

I tend to keep it simple 
I'm not good at spinning tales 
it's with honesty and kindness 
a relationship prevails 
and deep within your sadness 
is the fear to try again 
just open up a little 
let me build for you, a friend.. 

your eyes are sacred windows 
painted softly scented blue 
your soul, in need of comfort 
as you pray for something true  
let's slowly add the sunshine 
I'm prepared to pay my dues 
and the music's playing sweeter 
let's put on our dancing shoes..
